Many of us would not even consider camping as something we would find enjoyable or interesting. With the products available today, camping can be a "home away from home" experience.

You arrive at a facility with a reservation for a spot that you have chosen. That spot could be anything from a parking space for your recreational vehicle to a gorgeous lakeside campground. It could be a cabin with indoor plumbing and group facilities nearby or a wilderness location where you can get closer to nature. When it comes to food, your options are also incredibly varied. You could cook over an open flame or use a high-tech portable stove or grill that will be similar to cooking at home. There are a wide range of campers from which to choose if you don't look forward to sleeping under the stars or in a tent.
You don't even need to buy a camper. In most areas rentals are readily available and you can choose from a variety of styles. Some are very simple and others have many of the conveniences of home.

If you have more time, you can plan a camping trip to the mountains, by a lake or the sea, or near a historic or tourist location where you can include other activities into your camping trip such as sightseeing, shopping, horseback riding, boating, hiking, swimming, and any number of games and sports that appeal to you or the other members of your family or group. The possibilities are endless.
